To start off the week we have some the greatest melodic tracks from the past week…

It has been a busy year for Luka Sambe, starting with the release of his album, ‘The Fundamental Transcience of Everything’ in January and a series of high performing releases on All Day I Dream, Souksonic, Vapour and more. With a rich history in the scene, Luka is fast becoming (if not already) the leading Australian progressive artist of his generation whose talent is fully stated in this new EP on Sudbeat!

January the 7th meet a collaboration of great artists and producers – Citizen Kain, Alexandros Djkevingr and Greg Ignatovich to deliver their single release to the 2nd Skybar Records imprint!

After a great success with his previous release on Pillar Label, we are glad to welcome back Matias Burna with his new release ‘Astor’ on January the 7th!

Teiko Yume returns to the label, this time in partnership with Qantic and the duo delivers two powerful tracks under this “Conspiracy” release!

The title track “Conspiracy” is a rolling built around a rolling groove and deep, pulsating bass line and rhythmic synth stabs that give plenty of energy while pads and more melodic elements keep evolving through out the track while a spoken male vocal gives the extra touch to it.

After a great success with his previous releases on Area Verde we are glad to welcome back Seleck with his new single ‘Sideral’ on December the 10th

After the success of the beautiful original version “Arc Of Dreams” from the master minds D-Formation & Matan Caspi here we have on your attention this release that compiles a couple of different interpretations. The first one comes by the great Pavel Khvaleev and it has his typical character of danceable Progressive. From another hand we are pleased to welcome the British duo Fuenka. Their remix is dark, progressive and strong production as expected from them.

After a great success with his previous release on Area Verde we are glad to welcome back Andrewboy with his new banger release ‘Heart Of The Slavic Era’ followed by Da Fresh, High On Mars and Sebastian Haas Remixes on february the 4th

An earthworm has five hearts. Humans have five senses. The Olympic flag has five rings. DJs have the circle of fifths. ICONYC are celebrating five years…

All throughout history, religion, maths, music and beyond, the number five has a powerful sense of meaning and poignancy… And it’s a number that isn’t lost on the Berlin / New York-based brand ICONYC. The first milestone moment that gives any true sense of perspective, five years is a special moment for any creative endeavour. Especially in the turbulent world of the 21st century music game.

Transcending trends, algorithms, diminishing attention spans, a global pandemic and everything else the world has thrown at us all, since 2016 ICONYC has grown from its humble roots to establish itself as one of the most trusted and exciting platforms in house and techno.

With its near-permanent residence in the Beatport Top 100 and a dizzying menu of spin-off operations from high-profile Red Bull TV series ICONYC TV to the ICONYC Production Academy, ICONYC has consistently stayed true to its vision: to champion the most exciting, authentic and innovative house and techno out there, to encourage the next generation, to celebrate the universal language of the dancefloor, and to craft special releases like this powerful mix from leading New York resident tastemaker Allies for Everyone.

Part 2 delivers 25+ tracks over the label’s five years and featuring a who’s who in progressive house and melodic techno, the mixes reflect the many sonic shades and moods of ICONYC. Allies for Everyone digs deep into the label’s floor-focused melody-heavy techno and progressive vaults to deliver a timeless, emotive and enduring mix as he poignantly plots the coordinates between where ICONYC has been, where ICONYC is at and where ICONYC is heading.

With so much achieved in five years, and even bigger plans for the future, this is only the beginning for ICONYC; a label rooted by a timeless dance music spirit but powered by new gen energy. We take five. We high five. Here’s to the next five years…

Imar is back with yet another dance floor destined composition. Smooth and dynamic, Symphony lands with character, style and plenty of groove.

We are proud to have one of UK’s finest acts L E N K E back on the label with their brand new single “EVOLUTION”.
This is the first part of this project with the original mix and the first of the remixes which comes courtesy of Askani.

The original mix is a proper peak time monster fusing elements of melodic techno and progressive. Full on razor sharp beats and twisted synth lines are arranged perfectly as all gets twisted up with a rolling synth arpeggio that adds the extra drive to it all and keeps the tension sky high.

Aksani’s debuts on the label with a darker interpretation with a his remix. The crisp bets are backed with a phat bass line, while the heavily processed and manipulated original parts are being added to the mix along with some twisted synth lines that really build the whole thing up to a devastating effect-
