To start off the week we have some the greatest melodic tracks from the past week…
Two techno artists, Spartaque and Pablo Say deliver their collaborative release titled “I feel so free” to UNIONIIII. Spartaque and Pablo have been friends for a long time, and Pablo has been releasing tracks on Spartaque’s label, Codex, for quite some time. When Pablo was in Barcelona, they came up with the idea of releasing a collaborative track on Spartaque’s and Ramiro Lopez’s label, UnionIII, which specializes in collaborations. Pablo sent his initial idea to Spartaque, who then worked his magic to fine-tune the track. The end result is a beautiful example of Spanish techno that’s already receiving a lot of support from a large number of DJs. “I feel so free” is a perfect blend of Spartaque’s signature sound and Pablo’s unique style, and it’s sure to be a hit with techno fans around the world.
Masella is one of our most recognized family members, all we know him because of his previous releases “Soma”, “Indra” or “Marsha / Titan” and some other collaborations with D-Formation. He is back introducing this release teaming up with Fakdem (Steyoyoke). “Arya”, the first song of the E.P. is a melodic track full of melodic emotive elements, keeping Masellas’ production line. “Destino”, the B side featured and singed by Nauel presents a darker sound but maintaining the same style including some beautiful Spanish vocals. The duo Pelace are responsible of remixing “Destino” creating his own downtempo vision of the track.
Next on ICONYC Noir we welcome Azpecialguest & Ursarix to the label with ‘Sequenced’. The Danish & Polish based producers mark their debut on ICONYC Noir with a lovely progressive and melodic techno influenced track, which is easily one of his best bodies of works to date.
On April 7, meet a collaboration of talented producers from Spain, Carlos Pulido & T. Tommy, to present their single “Silent Hills” to Area Verde label.
More musical goodness from our trusted Turkish resident, and founding partner, is ready for all you beat-hungry, underground sound seekers to unwrap. Last month, he delivered spectacular, vocal desire ‘Stay With Me’, and continuing on his new and exciting path of vocal exploration, Findike brings us yet another endearing escape with some serious female attitude.
