Today we have some of the best techno releases from this past week…
German Techno producer Zerotonine, based in Switzerland near Zurich, is back on Orange Recordings.. After releasing on Spartaque’s IAMT, IAMT Red and Balthazar & Jackrock’s Renesanz, we welcome Zerotonine back for his 2nd 3 track “Dead Space EP”!!
October the 15th meet DR. DRTY to deliver his two-tracks release to Set About!
“Dark Places” was created during the first lockdown, heavily inspired by some of the techno that was being released right before the pandemic. The high energy, the Acid elements, the ghostly voices all give this track a specific atmosphere that really makes one think back to the first lockdown.
The basic idea of “Trebbin” on the other hand was created in 2019 during my first ever hosted techno retreat (which was hosted in a town called Trebbin). On the retreat there were instructors like Spektre, OC & Verde, Juliet Fox and Sudhaus who taught our participants on how to produce techno music. I was being interested in producing techno music for a while and learned a lot of useful techniques that I all applied in this track. From that point on the project “DR. DRTY” was born.
October the 15th meet a Berlin based artist and producer Daniel Boon to come back to IAMT with his two-tracks release titled Digital Detox!
“While the pandemic was in full swing I produced both tracks locked up in the studio. In the creation of Piano Man I was inspired by many songs that have a concise piano and I always wanted to produce something like that. Digital Detox is my praising cry for opening the clubs and was created while jamming at night.”
Please welcome talented Dark NG to #BlackKatFamily with his massive 2 tracker “Close my mind & Divine Constellations”
Daniel Rifaterra comes back on Redrum Music after her great releases on We Are The Brave and Truncate. His “Liberato” EP is an amazing collection of three original slamming techno tracks.
ICONYC One are pleased to welcome Rich Curtis to the label with his brand new ‘Just Leave EP’ to get any dust infused legs shaking. Rich who hails from Australia needs no further introduction to the electronic music loving soul, delivers another magnificent EP showcasing his exceptional production skills.
We kick things off with the title track ‘Just Leave’ a peak time techno dance floor monster which features a blend of deep bass tones, driving drum programming, cleverly chopped samples and intricately laced chord progressions, building to a massive breakdown before rebuilding to an unrelenting crescendo of energetic drum beats, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline. ‘Just Leave’ is a club monster that growls from the minute you push the play button.
The accompanying track ‘Binge’ is another pumping club affair utilizing a hypnotizing synth chord as the basis of the track, before all manner of varied melodies weave in and out of the stereo field to close out this wonderful 2 track release in style. Rich Curtis reinforces his reputation as one the scenes most consistent performers and once again showcases his huge array of production skills. Incredible stuff!
Rich Curtis ‘Just Leave EP’ delivers influenced techno beats in style that will make everyone smile. Another essential release from ICONYC One aimed straight at the soul, be ready to dance to it! ‘Just Leave’ sees a worldwide release on October 15th, 2021. Not to be missed!
