If you don’t like dark, melodic build-ups and perfectly composed tracks, stop reading now. Because Pete Oak is a master of exactly that and with his new EP “Between Two Worlds” he’s made another masterpiece in the melodic house & techno genre.
As always, Pete produces his own music complete with vocals that the listener didn’t know they needed until they heard them. He’s got a knack for constructing emotions within his music that translates well in a living room setting, in-ear headphones as well as on the dance floor.
“Between Two Worlds” pulls up references from Pete Oak’s own life where he has one foot in the creative music world and one in the regular world. He’s exploring how the two sometimes become enemies, while at other times are able to coexist or even aid each other. The world of music provides Pete Oak with a sense of escape into the euphoria that amazing sound can create. The real world is what keeps him grounded. And thus one world can’t exist without the other. The space in between is often complex, but never dull. That’s what “Between Two Worlds” explores.
Lossless adds an uncompromising remix version to the almost angsty original track, and further explores the dystopian question of being pulled apart by two major driving factors.

This new track is a follow up in a sense that we see some light after The Covid 19 and with this new chapter we release “Presence” dedicated to a fresh reboot of the club Seen as we know it in “Presence”. We have used various virtual instruments and analog Bass.This mix of digital and analog always inspires us.’

Our story unfolds in the beginning when there was nothing, until the goddess descended into the void. Out of the nothingness she created the land and ocean, followed by the forests, mountains and rivers. She named this land Helia, and left behind two artifacts – the Eastern and Western Orbs – that would, in her absence, keep the world in balance.
For thousands of years the land of Helia prospered and seemed was destined to remain forever fruitful, until a group of Helians tried to locate and use the power of the Orbs for their own purposes. In their greedy pursuit the Eastern Orb was shattered – quickly turning half of Helia to a world of imbalance, twilight and shadow.
The goddess, infuriated by the betrayal of the Helians, refused to forgive the unbalancing of the world and withdrew, leaving the continent to its own undoing. Hope remained, and a plan was set in motion to restore balance to this broken world.
