To start off the week we have some the greatest melodic tracks from the past week…

52 years after a ‘small step for man’ Skybar Records marks Apollo 11 Eagle Module’s landing on the Moon with the release of The Advocate’s ‘Mission: Apollo’ track which captures the magnificence of this iconic moment with powerfully progressive sound and imagery. Amplified by the original dialogue between President Nixon and Neil Armstrong – the first human to walk the Moon. The Advocate’s creation reminds of the power of the human mind and spirit as embodied by the crew of Apollo 11 and billions of us who gaze into the sky each night, inspired by the dreams of Neil Armstrong himself.

After our triumphant debut release, we invite Robert Babicz back for two exciting remixes from Abstraal and Julian Wassermann of his incredible ‘Galactic Tardigrade’ single.

Abstraal are a French duo with a shamanic sound that burst onto the scene in 2019 and have quickly climbed the ranks with releases on Family Piknik Music, Zehn Records and more. Their remix opens to powerful drums and echoing sonics. Filtering up to the main break with spritely far eastern promise, the cinematic break crescendos into Reese bass and Amen percussion with aplomb before mutating again into sparse, deep space disco.

German uber producer, Julian Wassermann, has cemented his reputation for excellence with releases on seminal labels such as Renaissance, Stil Vor Talent, and Blaufield. Using every ounce of studio skill at his disposal, Wassermann constructs a solid electro breaks vision that bristles with melody and shoegaze angst.

Our great friend Modeplex comes back to Beatfreak with another wonderful original tracks. On a remix duty we have Rauschhaus who delivers to us a lovely interpretation of Stellar.

August the 20th meet Argentina based artist Who Else to deliver his single “Hypnotic” on Area Verde.
Beautiful track with progressive house energy and fantastic vocal will pick up and carry you on the waves of music, love and dancing.
Enjoy!

We are delighted to welcome again American electronic project Darenosa.
Darenosa is the electronic music project of David Lopez de Arenosa, from Los Angeles, CA. What started out as a bedroom music experiment with a guitar and a looper, has evolved over time into a dark and infectious dance music project with a live band that has shaken up dance floors from San Diego to LA, and even Burning Man and beyond.
After the successful release of EP ‘Permission to Speak’ on Polyptych last year, Darenosa returns to us with a new single ‘In My Control’. The track’s immersive atmosphere and mesmerizing harmonies are intertwined with the unforgettable vocals of the lead singer of the project David Lopez de Arenosa, and reinforced with the crunch of analog synthesizers and a live drum part.
The release is supported by a remix from the artist of such famous labels as Spinnin, Glasgow Underground, and others – Dennis De Laat.
Have a nice journey.
