July the 16-th meet Spain based artists Justo Perez and Jose Rodriguez to deliver their 2 tracks release “Green Tsunami” to 7-th imprint of Pillar Records Label founded by Radio Intense in collaboration with Miss Monique! 
Two very progressive and deep tracks with subtle bass tones, subtle drum programming, cleverly cut samples and intricate chord progressions, building an energetic breakdown of elements to take them into deeper territory, fused chords underpinned by signature bass patterns, varied melodies that move in and out of the stereo field, with a lot of feeling and very catchy…..

Hailing from Tel-Aviv, Israel the duo Purple Pill launch their RGB / Never Mind release on Beatfreak Recordings. Both tracks are powerful productions and perfect fit for your sets. A surprise comes from the Copenhagen based DJ and producer Radeckt (TAU, MoBlack, Frau Blau), who had ideally remixed both original tracks in a single EP remix.

Oscar Aguilera’s melodic house label HE-ART Blue is back with its fourth release, and it features original material from Domenico Imperato who returns after dropping a remix on the imprint’s debut EP.

Italian artist, Domenico Imperato is someone whose melodic style of epic house takes influence from his many years in the music industry. Collecting records since the ’90s he draws upon decades of classic tracks for inspiration, and this has led to his timeless style that infused emotive melodies with uplifting pads and precision-engineered percussion.

Domenico Imperato has previously released with other labels including Shaman Black, and he has provided two alternative versions of his original track “Destiny”.

Also featuring on the EP is an electro-tinged remix by Blanca Ross who’s a Spanish artist known for her DJ sets infused with live vocals. She is a regular at many of Barcelona’s most prestigious events, and has released music on labels such as Diesis Records to Substeal Records.

Fusing spine-tingling female vocals with captivating atmosphere each of the deep and spellbinding tracks are perfect for enchanting the dance floor.

The original mix of “Destiny” opens the release with its soothing vocal textures layered over throbbing pads and stripped back percussion to create an immersive listening experience.

Lifting the intensity, next up is the Orbital Mix, which adds a pulsating bassline and some fast-flowing percussion rhythms to increase the tension.

Blanca Ross closes out the release with dark and chic remix that swaps out the singing of the original’s vocal for dystopian vocal phrases. Focusing on a hypnotic arpeggio, the added lead synth is reminiscent of other artists such as Miss Kittin & The Hacker.

Next on ICONYC Noir we welcome Mexican superstar Vazik who teamed up with enigmatic duo High on Mars to bring us their brand-new ‘Out of your Mind EP’. Hailing from Mexico & Iran respectively, the trio drops by with a lovely progressive and melodic techno influenced EP, which is easily one of their best body of works to date. 

The opening track ‘Surge of Energy’ features rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive melodic techno vibes to satisfy clubbing, uplifting and feel-good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the mix underpinned by a stacked bassline that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect. A sure fire winner. Essential stuff!

The accompanying title track ‘Out of your Mind’ delivers dance floor-oriented beats to get you moving. Vazik & High on Mars work their magic as roomy glowing love, filtered stabs and stunning groove are the name of the game, as they work their way into a drop full of tension and excitement, with the understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. The trio manages to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser.
