To start off the week we have some the greatest melodic tracks from the past week…
Making his name initially as half of Interaxxis, Folgar is now venturing into uncharted waters as a solo artist joining the label with the ‘Rain Force EP’ after an energetic start with releases on DjMag Latin America and Balance Music.
Opening with ‘Rain Force’ a twickly arp and sparse percussive framework develop into a bruising mid-set tour de force. Huge e-moment synths work the room with consummate ease as this cinematic track opens up. ‘Brown Velvet’ launches into its warm groove from the first bar. Gathering pace, exceptional synthwork and an understated bass growl from beyond the speakers. Finally, a vocal track with Sofia Rueda rounds out the pack. Haunting lyrics and melancholy synths project a winsome vibe against the stark broken beat of live instrumentation.
After a great success with thier previous releases on Area Verde, we are glad to welcome back two Ukrainian artists Antai and Alter with thier new ‘Aesthetica’ release on June the 11th!
These tracks are an aesthetic combination of the powerful rhythm of Earth energy and the transparent melodic flow of the Universe’s breath.
To mark the start of what is set to be a great summer full of love, laughs, and glorious sunshine, your dedicated team here at Findike Records have discovered a bright, young talent with a unique and special sound that couldn’t be more complimentary to the setting. Introducing Turkish star in the making Taylan Karabulut’s heavenly ‘Spectrum’ and its ingeniously contrasting B-side…
Spectrum (Original Mix) lifts off with a delicate amalgamation of smooth, buttery bass and feather-light percussion, as it sets the stage for the euphoric arpeggio that cascades like a spectacular waterfall into a minimal yet truly magnificent melody. Welcome to progressive paradise.
The intro to Luna (Original Mix) is reminiscent of dangling at the edge of a roller coaster’s precipice with nothing but darkness beneath you. In the blink of an eye, you’re booming into a deep abyss and gliding along on the ride of a lifetime as abstract chord changes and pitch-bending bass loops steer you swiftly towards tranquillity.
Congratulations are most definitely in order for the extraordinary finesse with which newcomer to the scene Taylan has executed the Spectrum EP, and we are so very proud to represent him. The music pioneers of the future are out there in abundance, and as your highly dependable, new music providers we promise never to stop tracking them down to bring them home. Now, it’s time for you to enjoy the music and time for us to get back to work…
Eegor (AKA – Richard Blacker) and Zark (AKA – Cameron Anlezark) both lived in Japan throughout the 90’s. Although not having met in Japan, they both fell in love with the Goa Trance scene, frequenting all the black-lit Tokyo clubs and listening to labels such as Matsuri Records, Dragonfly Records, X- Dream and the like.
The fusion of Richie’s 25 years’ experience as a veteran progressive Techno DJ and Cameron’s 25 years’ studio and audio engineering background has led to the driving progressive Techno sound of Eegor & Zark.
After their first appearance on IbogaTech with their track ‘Brick Wall’ which went out on the IbogaTech VA compilation ‘A Groovy Place 4’, Eegor & Zark now drop their first EP titled ‘Shifted Clarity’. Featuring 2 all new tracks and alongside a DM-Theory remix of the title tune, this new release from Eegor & Zark is bound to turn some heads and move some feet.
