Slovenean techno maestro BILBONI teamed up with Spanish techno matador James D for their Orange Recordings debut “Trauma EP”!! They delivered 3 absolute belters which shouldn’t be missed in every techno heads basket!!

May the 28th meet a Germany based dj duo – Soolver to deliver their two-tracks release called “Traveller” to Set About!
The Techno project Soolver was founded by the long-term buddies Julian and Simon back in 2018 Mainz / Germany. Both played in several bands and were djing in local clubs till they fell in love with Techno. The passion to make electronic music and dance to it is something they shared for many years now.
Soolver stands for modern melodic Techno – handmade! Getting support from hometown neighbours Teenage Mutants and Bulgarian Techno Master Metodi Hristov their next release will be on our 106th imprint of Set About!

On the date of our Imprint’s 4th birthday, ANNA V. is delivering her darkest work ever, signalling a new era for the Label.

Pseudomonachia Daemonum bridges the gap between Anna’s then and now, by adding a tease of what’s about to come in the future.

Indicating the sound aesthetic of the label from now on, Anna has produced 3 particular originals based on her new concept of techno and her new production direction.

While maintaining the strict discipline and sound ascendance that regularly characterise her productions, Anna continues to explore the limits of harmony, resonance and frequency stretch, something that’s unmistakable on her latest work.

Pushing forward the boundaries of her own sound signature, Anna is constantly reinventing her music by adding abstract elements and cinematic character united with sounds never heard before, forging a new audible experience.

Luca Gaeta is a DJ and a constantly evolving producer, always looking for innovative sounds. Eclectic, creative, with a unique style that transmits great strength and adrenaline. His composes his music with a careful selection of classical house sounds.

Cyprusian returns to Mavic with 4 lightening bolt tracks. Dark hypnotic tones and jacking rhythms combine to form this “Kill It” EP. The title track winds pads and sound effects around a hoover’esque style synth line, spaced out jacking percussion and melodic stabs. “Lost” is a satisfying vocal journey told by a deep melancholic story teller on top of a bed of mid bass grooves and stabs. “Python” picks up the pace with a tripped out melodic journey of arpeggiated chords and “Vipera” bring some late night in your face shock value to the dance floor. All tracks are highly produced and highly original.

Apartment 507 has a high-energy rolling bassline with a forward feeling motion, built on a bed of driving percussion and hypnotic vocal slices similar to the vibrations of Johannesburg city within apartment 507. This song entails a journey of where their friendship all began, a chapter in their lives influenced by the mutual love for music and art.
