Cassiopeia is a northern constellation representing “Cassiopeia”, the legendary queen of Ethiopia. It is one of the 88 modern constellations!
I have been inspired by this constellation because I have always been interested in the space world!
In Acid Cassiopea I used acid synth that reminds me, with a subtle voice, a whisper of the stars and an electronic base that make a whole!

Lebana

Lebana is actually the reverse of Anabel, I liked the idea of dedicating something to the person who has believed in my music and I always liked playing with names!
This is a collaboration with a real singer and musician who has the talent from him so he could get out even more magic, depth and reality!

Next on ICONYC Noir we welcome ANMA & Chat Bizarre to the label with ‘Atitlàn’. The French duo mark their debut on ICONYC Noir with a lovely progressive and melodic techno influenced track, which is easily one of their best body of works to date.

The original mix features rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive melodic techno vibes to satisfy clubbing, uplifting and feel-good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the mix underpinned by a deep bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect. On remix duty we welcome back label favorite and Keep Thinking head honcho Kris Brown aka Four Candles who delivers a gem of a remix with his dance floor-oriented rework. His remix is interspersing with roomy glowing love, filtered stabs and stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement, with the understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. Kris manages to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser.

With ‘Atitlàn’, ANMA & Chat Bizarre really show that there’re no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic release guides you to a dance floor heavy, melodic hug of a release that will leave you with many smile-induced moments! Not to be missed.

Taking a track that is already at the height of what can be called an absolute banger and turning the notch up on the energy is something that few can tackle with such an air-tight production style. But when it comes to Luis M, a tendency for the expansiveness the existing elements and a general flair for powerful basslines is pretty much assured. Flowing from the same progressive rhythm and melodic elements of the original, Luis M crafts an absolute smasher of a remix to the MVMB & Eeemus collab ‘Black Sun’.

March ’20 – our dancefloors shut, the rave stops. Today, more than a year later we’re still waiting for our favorite clubs to re-open their doors and our favorite festival to enchant us yet another time. We all miss our chance to gather in warm crowds, share a smile with a stranger and shake off the burdens of everyday life on the dancefloor. It’s a challenging time for the scene, mentally and physically. But lo and behold, sooner or later, social isolation will come to an end and there will be a REVIVAL.

After months of planning & scheming, we’re hyper-excited to present our very first label release – a 10 track compilation to revive our dancefloors after their dormancy. The full compilation will be released throughout summer ’21.

The debut single “Liberty” comes from no other than the rising talent and our good friend Jono Stephenson. When we first heard his productions, we knew we’d discovered someone special and it’s just been a joy to see his artistry constantly evolve since then. „Liberty” represents a continuation as well as a progression of his signature sound. Drawing inspiration from his idols Tale Of Us, Fideles & Artbat, the track takes us on a dreamy, yet energetic journey led by its deep bass and powerful synths. The minimalistic and clear arrangement lets every element unfold within the space it deserves, making the track a true masterpiece. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

All revenue goes to the artist and 15%% of royalties are donated to help people in the poorest parts of Africa thanks to our distribution partner.

May the 28-th meets Ukrainian, Kiyv based artist – Stas Underhill to deliver his 2 tracks release “Inversion” on Area Vrede.

Snowstorm – inspiration came when visiting Norway. This is about the everlasting nature. Now the sun is shining, and in a minute a blizzard begins. A very impressive sight…

Out next on Iono Black is Neptun 505 with a two tracker release. The first track ‘A Life of Hope’ is a serene track, consisting of groovy beats, harmonious instrumentation and elevating melodies. The 2nd track ‘Sequent Sunset’ is a quirky number filled with eclectic percussion, a dirty bass, infectious stabs & mammoth risers.
