To start off the week we have some the greatest melodic tracks from the past week…

Next on ICONYC Noir we welcome back Airbas to the label in collaboration with Kill the Frequency and their new EP ‘Neverending Hope’. Hailing from Italy, the duo drops by with a lovely melodic progressive influenced 2 tracker, which is easily one of their best body of works. 

The opening title track ‘Neverending Hope’ mix features rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive melodic vibes to satisfy clubbing, uplifting and feel-good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the mix underpinned by a staccatoed bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect. A sure winner. Essential stuff!

Next up the duo drop ‘Dark over the Fence’ a track that is interspersing with roomy glowing love, filtered stabs, smooth vocal and stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of good vibes and excitement, with the understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. The duo manages to keep the smoothness up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser. 

With ‘Neverending Hope’, Airbas & Kill the Frequency really show that there’re no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic release guides you to a dance floor heavy, melodic hug of a release that will leave you with many smile induced moments! Not to be missed.

April the 16th meets Spain artists and dj duo – WO-CORE to deliver their release to Area Verde!
These tracks were created on a dark stormy day. Inspiring each thunder and each lightning, they tried to represent all that harmony, using great analog instruments like the Moog Sub 37 and the Korg Minilogue.

Taking the dynamic grooves of the original in a more driving direction, Riktam delivers an explosive rendition of MVMB & ALL’IN’s ‘Zenith’ with unstoppable momentum. The new remix stays true to the banging nature of the original, while giving it some fresh texture and revived intensity.
