To start off the week we have some the greatest melodic tracks from the past week…

William Medagli, Thallulah & Shemsu mark their debut on ICONYC with their brand new single ‘Arizona’ that delivers a slice of early spring vibes. The track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. The trio’s trademark beat manipulation is prevalent, as all manner of elements drift in and out of earshot. Perfect for beat loving club crowd and to get you in the mood for a big night out.

OIBAF & WALLEN, who need no introduction created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as their restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. “Essential stuff!”

Next up we have Paul Sawyer, the English maestro known for his polished sound, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh – His transcendent touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

Last but not least we have a remix courtesy of Arash Shadram, who delivers a trademark deep melodic mix with infectious chords, intense drums and smooth breakdown. It’s all about the groove, cool melodic vibes and the driving beats that are working their magic around Arash Shadram’s wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip.

With ‘Arizona’ William Medagli, Thallulah & Shemsu really show that there’re no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smile induced moments! ‘Arizona’ sees a worldwide release on February 22nd, 2021 via every well-known digital content provider. Not to be missed.

Diezel’s ‘Feel My Body’ was a big streamer for 1980 Recording in 2020. It is back with a brand new set of remixes from the 180 Recordings family.

Dan Lambourne, Groove Salvation, MJSB & Cristian Avigni return to 1980 Recordings on remix duties to bring a full set of underground deep, tech, techno house wonderfulness to this release.

Around Us have been making waves lately with their deep and progressive sounds across various well known labels from around the globe and we are thrilled to have them debut on Mirabilis Records with a fantastic three tracker titled “Dialogue”!

The title track “Dialogue” is a deep and hypnotic progressive affair with plenty of melodic action and a deep and driving groove that slowly builds through out the track.

“Connection” opts for a more gentle touch with it’s tripped out melodic synth and keys riff that are a perfect match to the softer and percussive groove.

Rounding things off is “Message” which is lead by a male spoken vocal and a darker vibe created by the haunting bass line and sinister synth riffs.

Overall yet another class outing for this prolific duo!
