Ezequiel Arias returns to the label with his signature smooth style.
Arias has packed a lot into his years. Since breaking onto the scene in 2013 he’s now signed music to a cross section of melodic labels from Replug to Anjunadeep. Enjoying months of chart action with his debut for Sudbeat, we welcome Ezequiel back for the ‘Amnesia EP’.
Opening with ‘Amnesia’, melodics slowly reveal themselves against a sparse percussive groove. Becoming more expansive over time, the sonics take on a story-telling dynamic, ebbing and flowing throughout. Starting innocently, ‘Images of Time’ is a subtle groove that lingers with intent. The main break offers the big reveal and the track springs into life. Finally, ‘Paradies’ opens with dream-like atmospheres which come to an epic conclusion in the break. Mind music par excellence!
Maxi Meraki returns with a crazy house track on 72Pixels! “Hope” is an unique mixture of raw disco beats and melodic house which makes it stand out from the crowd for sure. Maxi Meraki is a known DJ with tracks like “Always There” and “Constellations” performing well on the streaming platforms. He received a lot of support from famous DJs before and cannot wait to see what this track is will do in the scene!

With his brand new ‘Just a Feeling EP’ we welcome Jaybeetrax to ICONYC Noir. The German producer has started to accumulate a nice little curriculum of releases, with his last releases on Spring Tube & ICONYC amongst others. Upon his debut on ICONYC Noir he delivers 2 outstanding tracks to get any dancefloor moving.
To start us off, Jaybeetrax lets rip with the melodic soundscapes of ‘Longline’. His influences are immediately evident as subtle freeform concepts drift through percussive inspired instrumentations. Rippling melodies trip along a deep kick that anchors an auricular montage to create a special sonic infused moment, accompanied by a wonderful vocal that is going to leave a mark on your aural perception. Essential stuff!
Next up we have the title track, ‘Just a Feeling’ a musical affirmation, unified by a relentless kick drum and dark atmospheric emotion, the track is a concoction of warm, deep bass grooves, swirling pads, textured layers and stunning effects.
Audio Anonymous & Ipcress return with a second EP in as many months as they deliver this funky psychedelic techno track with a deep driving bassline. Luis M is on remix duties which delivers the perfect dance floor banger to accompany the original.
Unknown Love is a song that talks about difficult moments in life, about new, unknown stages, which you have to love in some way in order to continue and understand that this is just one more stage. A little melancholy invading the
dancefloor.
NiKo is back with us. His new single “Close My Eyes” is filled with exciting notes. An interesting combination of rich percussion and progressive melody. This can be traced to the Brazilian origin of the track.
