Today we have some of the tech releases from the past week that have been making some noise…
303Lovers is the spawn of a musical design by Luigi Rocca and Manuel De La Mare. Rooted in three tiers of electronic music, those being tech house, techno and electronica, the label symbolises a soundscape that has melted away boundaries, ventured into crossover and retained underground status, whilst continually proliferating its musical direction to ensure it is on the cutting edge of electronic music.
Harley Scott is a name to look out for!
This tech-house workout is pure vibes. The banging bass and a crisp groove pump bigtime along with a killer vocal sample.
Returning after a six-month break, Truesoul delivers a pair of uplifting cuts from Bart Skils, marking his debut on Drumcode’s little brother imprint.
‘My Rules’ was created during lockdown with the specific intent to brighten the lives of the techno faithful. Both compositions were inspired by the type of tracks Skils would typically use to build his sets during longer sessions, when tension-and-release dynamics are deployed with aplomb. The title track comprises a wiggly bassline running alongside a skilfully arranged vocal hook, while tiny flashes of melody amplify the atmosphere. ‘Cruising Waves’ is marked by a hypnotic groove and a meditative vocal loop before a ball-tearing industrial synth-line rips through the bottom end at regular intervals throughout the second half of the piece.

This two-track single from up and coming UK artist Roxelio has an air of pure house vibes. It kicks off with ‘Fathom’: A solid house groove and bumpy bassline pump this up to the next level! Hypnotic pads and hi pitched strings create a sublime vibe on this classy cut.
‘Control’ is another deep house groover. There is a hypnotic yet soft feel to the deep house groover that has a real Chicago house feel.
Damon Hess brings in a groovy tech-house remix of Victor Porfidio’s Tell It To My Heart on 2Dutch Air! Both Damon and Victor gave the well-known hit ‘Tell It To My Heart’ by Taylor Dayne a fitting modern new version. We absolutely love them and can’t stop listening.
