To start off the week we have some the greatest melodic tracks from the past week…
We are thrilled to welcome Ras Algethi back to the label with his latest 2 track ‘Cirque EP’. With previous outings on ICONYC, Lost on You and Art Vibes Music to name a few, the Russian producer is no stranger to the scene with his driving melodic progressive influenced productions.
We kick things off with the outstanding opening track ‘Herculesus’ a stunning driving melodic techno affair, that employs a deep groove as the basis of the track underpinned by a deep bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown before unleashing into a rising melodic hook that climaxes into the highpoint of the track as the full force of percussive drive and harmonies combine to see out this great opener. Exciting and essential stuff!
Next up Ras drops the outstanding title track ‘Cirque’; that starts to delve into deeper more melodic territory, which sees lush pads fused with chord hits highlighted by Ras Algethi’s trademark bass patterns
A space journey with dark sounds combined with percussions. Infinite melodies that reach the soul. These 2 tracks are focused on the dance floor.

For his return to ICONYC we’re excited to welcome fran&co & Aves Volare to bring us their take on Frank’s ‘Taron’.
Frank who knows a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing productions, delivers an irresistible track that kicks things off nicely with the melancholic vibes setting the tone. He roams effortlessly through progressive inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top of the driving percussive foundation. Frank takes it up a notch by adding an extra layer of depth, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed drumming and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the main groove. His work deserves to be branded ‘essential’ in any sense of the word.

Kicking things off with “Psychic Multiverse” with its twisted dark groove and powerful synth stabs matched with different evolving pads and soundscapes, spaced out effects this one is one serious peak time monster.
The second track “Symbiosis” is a stripped back and deeper affair with plenty of percussive layers, smooth and warm synth lines fused with ethereal soundscapes and blissed out effects.
