What are Badges?
Facebook is currently testing a feature called ‘Badges’ on Instagram. Badges provide users the opportunity to ‘tip’ a creator as part of a live stream, similar to the Stars product on Facebook.
When will this be happening?
Gradual expansion of this tool is expected to commence this week, and testing will continue through to the end of the year.
Who is Eligible?
In order to be eligible to participate in Badges, amongst other criteria, creators must have at least 10k followers on Instagram, and must be in one of the 12 countries listed below.
