Today we have some of the techno releases from the last week you need to listen to…
Landing 10 years after his first concept album Full Circle, Wehbba announces the March release of his upcoming Straight Lines and Sharp Corners LP, marking his debut album contribution to Drumcode. Following a series of globally adored EPs and inclusions within the imprint’s esteemed A-Sides compilation series, the chart-dominating São Paulo native now reflects upon his life as ‘the artist’, offering an immersive montage of stories that echo a tenacious dedication to his craft. Enlisting the talents of multi-instrumentalist Thomas Gandey, Electroclash pioneer David Carretta and fellow Brazilian L-cio, with his unparalleled flute mastery, Wehbba’s synergetic cuts span the breadth of electronic music’s sonic landscape, as he challenges the notion of genres with seasoned voices.
We present to you the Orange Recordings – Selections V.3 – compilation!! We have selected 15 exclusive tracks from Orange Recordings label favourites and debutants including Tom Laws, Drumsauw, Chris Veron, ALPHA 1, Vince Weyn, Nikoretti, Marrie, Origin Riddim, Richard Cleber, Gero Jansen, Deepesh Sharma, StoKed, Alen Milivojevic & Drzneday, Giorgio Rusconi, Devid Dega and Valentin Pascual.
We are introducing Christian Hornbostel to the label, with a four tracker E.P. with his personal vision of Techno. Backed by his overflowing experience as producer Christian gets usually heavy support from people like Pan-Pot, Alan Fitzpatrick, Bart Skils, Karotte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Martin Eyerer to name a few.
Gaston Zani returns to VOLTAGE family with an outstanding piece of work, a brand new record consisted of 2 breathtaking originals. “Unsteady” represents Zani’s fresh musical style; He’s going beyond and above standard mainstream sound, showcasing his technical abilities and setting a trend. Both tracks on this EP are sturdy and rigid; Both tracks are built around a strong bassline, enriched with his characteristic percussion patterns, thus creating a classic Techno groove. The spaniard combines numerous elements in these two originals. like drones and acid-style sequences, along with excellent use of autofilters and ingenious arrangement that make them stand out of the mass.
Alan Hash returns to Substeal Records with his ‘Gorilla Glue’ for its 39th release. No stranger to the scene Alan delivers another great masterpiece, that is ready to rock the dancefloors. To complete the release we have 2 great remixes, one by Alessandro Grops, who has been seen on labels like: Phobiq, Funk’n Deep and many others, and the second Remix by Bruno Aguirre, for whom this is the second appearance on Substeal Records, and an artist that has become familiar for his releases on labels like: Unrilis, Funk’n Deep and many more!
An initial atmosphere for this amazing track, a voice that creates a continuous trip with a strong synth and bass.
OPR005 is looking for a mental tunnel and alternate a stunning percussions raising the spirit from the ground for this record created by Anabel Sigel.
Sapyens release nr. 11 is coming from Bristol underground. Producer called Geist with his brand new EP, incl. 4 originals and 1 remix by Kahter.
Eli Spiral is finally back on the label with his new single called The First Molecule! It was featured on the Interfered II compilation first and was a key ingredient in that mix, being a nice bridge between the regular progressive tunes and more driving, trancey tracks, thanks to the roots of Eli who’s not a stranger to the Psy-Trance world! It’s a dancefloor-ready cracker that makes you move once you hit the play button. Remixes from label boss Enlusion and Coredata complement the original with their own sound, Jonny Royal mastered his updated Platipus sound really well here, delivering an epic, driving progressive trance remix.
